Two weeks ago, I filed a leave for March 29 for a family reason. Yes, finally, this is the first time that my whole family is going to have a Visita Iglesia for the first time. So, i won't really miss this chance.
Somewhat this is the time that my family is going to have a religious activity together. Well, this is not really the first time yet somewhat in this time of year, it is.
As we all know, Catholics have been doing this commemoration for hundreds years. Filipinos adopt this belief from what Spanish has taught us. This is the time of the year that we can do meditation and reflections over the year of what we have done the 'wrong way'.

The plan started some weeks ago. I even printed prayers for the Visita Iglesia 2018 for the 7 churches that we are planning to visit.
The list include:
1. St Francis (La Verna Hills)
2. San Miguel (Panacan)
3. St Joseph (Sasa)
4. Carmelite Sisters Monastery (Lanang)
5. San Antonio de Padua (Agdao)
6. Sacred Heart of Jesus (Obrero)
7. Our Lady of Mother Perpetual Help (Bajada)
We started our journey at 4pm and ended it at around 7 pm. Quite tired yet at least fulfilled. Next year, planning to get more church to visit here is Davao City.
